Nasarawa State governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura has assured the people that he will complete all the projects initiated by his administration before the end of his second tenure next year. The governor made the pledge yesterday, when he paid an unscheduled visit to some ongoing project sites in Lafia, the state capital.
Some of the projects visited by the governor included the Lafia Airport, Lafia City Stadium, New Lafia General Hospital, the extension of Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital, Lafia and others.
Some of the projects were initiated two years ago by the APC administration of Al-Makura.
The governor, who noted that some difficult aspects of the projects had been completed, promised that quality jobs would be done on them.
Al-Makura said that his administration was able to provide the people of state the needed dividends of democracy and commended the contractors for a job well done.
“I am happy with these projects, because they are of immense benefits to the people of the state whom we assured of providing them with the dividends of democracy,” he said.
