As the administration of Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun state winds down, the governor is set to hold the final edition of his interactive programme tagged Ogbeni Till Day Break this week Friday
A release issued and made available to newsmen in Osogbo on Tuesday by the state commissioner for Communication and Strategy, Mr. Adelani Baderinwa stated that this edition of Ogbeni-Till-Day-Break is the last official interactive session between Governor Aregbesola and the people of the state.
Aregbesola is expected to handover the mantle of leadership of Osun to the governor elect Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola on 27th of November, 2018 at the expiration of his two terms in office.
According to the Commissioner, the event would afford the people of the state the opportunity to interact with the governor as he renders his stewardship, states his success story and challenges of his administration in the last eight years.
“We will all recall that Ogbeni-Till-Day-Break was birthed by the glorious Aregbesola’s administration in 2011 in furtherance of his commitment to accountability and transparency.
“The programme provides opportunities for members of the public within and outside Nigeria to have direct interaction with the Governor.
“We are pleased to invite the general public – opinion moulders, traditional rulers, religious bodies, civil societies, labour movements, professional bodies, market men/women, political parties, artisans and other interest groups in the state to the live and uncensored programme.’’
The Commissioner urged the people to be part of the historic programme as it is going to be fulfilling, worthwhile and exciting.
