The lawmaker representing Lagos Mainland federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Olajide Jimoh, has called on Nigerians, particularly his constituents, to vote wisely in the 2019 general elections.
The lawmaker, who was the chairman at the second edition of Abule-Ijesha Day, held at the weekend in Lagos, urged people to collect their Permanent Voter Cards, (PVC), and vote the progressive party.
The community day, tagged: “Propelling Developmental Change,” brought together dignitaries from all part of the state.
Jimoh told his constituents to vote for all candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the forthcoming general election.
He also used the occasion to woo a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Tajudeen Jaiyeola Agoro, to join the progressives.
“He is my brother, but I advised him to leave the PDP for the APC so as to move Lagos Mainland federal constituency to greater height,” he added.
He urged the youths to do away with thuggery, cowboy tactics and arm-twisting, and contribute meaningfully to the development of the community.
