The presidential candidate of Advance Nigeria Democratic Party (ANDP), in the forthcoming 2019 general elections, Prof Yusufu Ameh Obaje, said his confidence of winning the polls is solely in God whom he said will never fail him.
According to Obaje, if he becomes the president of the country, he will deliver the teaming youths of Nigeria from unemployment and provide succour to the downtrodden and bring dividends of democracy to all Nigerians.
Speaking after he received the flag of the party in Abuja from the national chairman of the party, Chief Charles Ogboli Yusufu, the presidential candidate said he is very optimistic that he will win the upcoming general election, come 2019.
“We are still a country of under development, scarce resources, abandoned projects and shattered hope of a people in perpetual struggle. But I will unite the country, make it prosperous and secured enough to experience uncommon peaceful co-existence,” he said.
He said Nigerians have individually and collectively succeeded in creating a culture of widespread godless behavior, deep-seated non-existential religious, largely unproductive leadership, chronically uncommitted followership and pitiable schizophrenic lifestyle, but called on Nigerians to wake up from their dogmatic slumber and rekindle their faith in the Almighty God.
He insists that people must reverse their situation, recreate true greatness and regain their collective destiny that will guarantee a future of unlimited possibilities for all Nigerians.
“Together we shall work tirelessly to guarantee good security and ensure that agriculture retains its rightful position as Nigeria’s greatest source of wealth,” Obaje said.
