OAP Tosyn Bucknor Dies At 37



Popular on air personality (OAP), Tosyn Bucknor has died at the age 37. The OAP with Inspiration FM was said to have died in her home on Monday night, November 19, 2018.

Her sister and CEO of Zapphire events, Funke Bucknor Obruthe confirmed it and noted that her sister died of sickle cell complications.

Funke who disclosed the cause of the death of the media personality on social media, wrote: “My heart is heavy, but in all things we give thanks to God. My darling sister and besto Tosyn passed away last night due to complications from sickle cell. Love you”.

According to reports, Tosyn was found dead by her husband, Aurelien Boyer when he arrived at home from work on Monday night.

Oluwatosin ‘Tosyn’ Bucknor is a graduate of Law from the University of Lagos. She was born with sickle cell anaemia which prompted her to start ‘These Genes Project’ to help people with the condition.

In November 2015, Tosyn and Aurélien Boyer had their traditional wedding, surrounded by family and friends in Lagos, followed by a white wedding in France.

Tosyn previously hosted the morning show at Top Radio FM.
