Ahead of 2019 general elections, a Pro-Buhari group under the aegis of “All Progressives Congress (APC) Must Win Initiative,” has said that President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo must win.
The national chairman of the group, Alhaji Mahmoud Abubakar who made the declaration in a chat with journalists in Abuja, yesterday said that only President Buhari is fighting for national interest while other presidential candidates are pursuing personal interests.
He said, “Reelecting President Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC), remains the best option for Nigeria as a nation, we all need to support him to change Nigeria for another four years after his first tenure in 2019.
“President Buhari’s achievement on the fight against corruption is a good example that calls for our support,” he said.
On his part, the national coordinator of the group, Dr. Charles Uzopuo urged Nigerians to support the Buhari and Osinbajo mandate to perfect the change in the country.
He said, “When APC wins the 2019 presidential election, corruption will die a natural death, there will be no more poverty in Nigeria.”
“We will ensure that President Buhari and all APC candidates across the country win the next general elections. All hands must be on deck to change the future of our generation through President Buhari.”
