The Advanced Nigeria Democratic Party (ANDP) has said that the party will not privatize the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) if elected into government in 2019.

Speaking during a press conference in Abuja yesterday, with the theme: ‘’Recreating Nigeria 2019: Towards a Revolutionary Agenda’’, the presidential aspirant of the ANDP, Prof. Yusufu Obaje said as a party they will build six major refineries in six geo political zones in the country.

It would be recalled that the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, had said he will sell the NNPC and retain just 10 per cent of the company for the federal government.

Obaje said the nation has been deprived of major revenue as crude oil has over 22 products including bitumen used in road construction.

He also called for political revolution, saying as a party they will satisfy the political yearnings and aspirations of the Nigerian people.

‘’Our own type of democracy shall be a government of ‘’God through Nigerians, by God with Nigerians, for the people of Nigeria and to the glory of God.

‘’We will also introduce ideological revolution and together we shall create an ideological foundation for Nigeria. To exist is to be a Nigerian,’’ he said.

Also talking about imperative revolution, Obaje also said that he shall develop economic revolution which he said shall develop its own economic theory based on its clearly defined national ideology.

‘’To exist is to be a Nigerian, rendering selfless service to make Nigeria the greatest of all nations. Our economic theory shall be theocentric economic theory of helping the poor to become rich and the genuinely rich to become richer”. he said.

Obaje also stressed that education and defence will receive same budget to function properly.

He added that ‘’education builds a nation’’.
