The rumour that Jigga threw a shade at his former Watch The Throne partner (Kanye) on Meek Mill’s new album Championship has been misconstrued. In a  tweet, Jay Z, clarified his supposed diss lyric on Friday, stating: ‘The line clearly meant don’t pit me against my brothers no matter what our differences are (red hat) now go pick up Meek album.

According Metro online magazine, Jay Z’s clarification doesn’t exactly clear up his lyric considering he does appear to be heavily dissing Kanye on What’s Free.

Jay Z noted in his rap,  ‘No red hat, don’t Michael and Prince me and Ye / They separate you when you got Michael and Prince’s DNA. ‘I ain’t one of these house n***** you bought / My house like a resort, my house bigger than yours / My spo—c’mon, man—my route better of course.’
