Renowned Nigerian musicians, Asa and Femi Kuti are set to entertain Lagosians at the fourth session of Johnnie Walker’s – Johnnie, Jazz & Whisky’s (JJW), Live Music Concert at the GET Arena, Oniru, Lagos, this Saturday.

JJW, Johnnie Walker Black Label’s arguably foremost platform for the fusion of live AfroJazz beats pairs live music and the four distinctive flavours of the label – fruity, tropical, creamy and smoky, served by Nigeria’s topmost mixologists.

Kicking off in March, 2018, the event has featured popular Nigerian artistes as Adekunle Gold, and poet, Temmie Ovwasa during its maiden edition in Lagos; Afro Jazz musician, Lagbaja, and Afro pop singer, Simi in Abuja, last July, and Femi Kuti and Simi at the city of Port-Harcourt in October.

Speaking of its decision to feature the two artists lies, Asa, for the first time on the platform, the label stated lies in the singer’s shared quality with the brand, which is “remaining true to her soulful tunes as Johnnie Walker has maintained high quality and standards that have engendered loyalty of its customers.

“Johnnie Walker Black Label has remained steadfast in delivering the best of live music amidst cocktails delivered by renowned mixologists. This is what will come to Lagosians this Saturday. I am optimistic that nothing will be spared by these great artistes in creating a fun-filled ambience as a way of ending JJW in 2018,” said the label’s Brand Manager, Toluwalashe Ogunyemi.

Also performing at the event are Yimeka, Chike and Efezino. The event promises great performance from all the artistes, and assorted cocktails concocted from exotic fusions of the brand whisky.
