Despite increase in patronage this season, Fuji King, Ayinde Marshall, aka K1 Ultimate, cancelled all engagements this week after one of his band members, his saxophonist, Mr Joel Ajayi, closed his eyes in death.

The decade-old musician, who was encouraged to pursue a career in music and not acting, by Oga Bello, was pained by the death of his band mate more so because of the efforts that was put in to improve the medical situation of the deceased.

According to reports, Ajayi was being treated by K1’s personal doctor, Dr Idowu Agarawu, before he opted to be moved to a church for prayers. It was while at the church that he died on Sunday December 9, 2018.

His death is coming barely three weeks after the death of another one of his band boys, Mr Dipo Odebode Aderibigbe, who was killed because of persistent high blood pressure situation, a condition that is killing young Nigerians fast, because many young people do not go for regular medical routine check-up.
