A Senator representing Jigawa Northeast district at the Senate, Senator Ubale Shitu, has vowed to challenge Governor Muhammed Badaru Abubakar second term ambition even if it may necessitate him to dump All Progressives Congress (APC).
Senator Shitu, who was elected under the platform of APC stated this while speaking to his supporters in Hadejia, Jigawa state.
Shitu, noted that he and his supporters will do everything possible to ensure governor Badaru loose his second term bid including join hands with other persons who want to unseat the governor by all means.
He told his followers to get ready for the political battle and urged them not be scared or get panic by the power of incumbency as the victory will certainly be at their side.
“I, Ubale Shitu will personally draw the first battle line that will bring to an end to the tyrannical, clueless and bad leadership of governor Badaru’s government in Jigawa state.
“Wallahi! We would change him by any means and send him packing to his country, by 2019,” he stated.
Senator Shitu accused governor Badaru of plotting to substitute him by his deputy governor Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, who is finishing his second terms as deputy governor in 2019.
The aggrieved Senator also told his supporters the achievement he recorded in as a Senator representing Jigawa Northeast, and promise to bring more dividend of democracy to his constituency.
