Group Urges Women To Vote Wisely

As the 2019 presidential election draws nearer, the Buhari/Osinbajo support group, Noble Women Movement for Buhari and Osinbajo (NWM4BO), has called on women and youths in the country to cast their votes wisely.

Speaking with newsmen in Abuja at the weekend, the national president of the group, Mrs. Mfawa Usani, maintained that a vote for Buhari and Osinbajo would secure the future of Nigerian children,

Usani stated that President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration has laid a solid foundation for economic growth and development of the country, within the last three and a half years, which, according to her, has earned the administration a pass mark both at the local and international levels.

She maintained that no amount of gang up against the present administration would deter the group and other lovers of democracy in the country from ensuring the re-election of President Buhari and Vice President Osinbajo come 2019.

“We are calling on women and the youths of this great country to come out and vote massively for President Muhammadu Buhari and his running mate, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo come 2019 presidential election.

We are making this clarion call because women and youths are the worse victims of wasteful and bad governance. If we must guarantee the future and destiny of our children, if our health institutions and public schools must be functional, then all noble women must queue behind President Buhari in 2019.”

Also speaking, the group director of publicity, Dr. Rachael Ahmadu, called on the opposition parties to resign to fate in the matter of President Muhammadu Buhari, noting that the president is not seeking office to promote any personal agenda, but to regain the nation from the claws of usurpers and looters.

Ahmadu noted the low financial profile in the ongoing campaign of President Buhari, which according to her, is a clear departure from the past, where an incumbent president would waste public funds on campaigns.
