Gombe APC Guber Candidate Gives PDP Quit Notice Ikom/Boki Constituency

All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Gombe State, Mohammed Inuwa Yahaya, yesterday, gave the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state quit notice.

Speaking during the flag-off his campaign, Yahaya said that APC is now deeply rooted in the state.

He lamented that the state has been mismanaged by successive administration in the state.

He particularly lamented that in the last eight years Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has failed to empower the people and develop the state.

He assured Vice President Yemi Osibabnjo and other party leaders that come February and March PDP will finally be buried in the state.

“We are here today to uproot PDP, I am assuring you Mr. Vice President that come February 16, we shall deliver you and Mr. President and come March 2nd, we shall finally bury the PDP by electing the governor and all other candidates.” He said.

He also used the occasion to present candidates vying for other elective position under the platform of the APC in the state.

“The people of Gombe must retrace their future by voting out PDP at all levels in the next election.”

Speaking at the event, Vice President Osibanjo, admonished  party supporters not to believe the lies being propagated by the PDP that APC is an Islamic party.

He said President Buhari is very sincere and not bias, that is why himself, the SGF and other Christians serving in this government are enjoying  good working relationship with the President.

Also speaking the leader of the APC in the state, Sen Danjuma Goje, said APC, decided to launched its campaign in the Southern part of Gombe in other to uproot the PDP in the zone which is considered as PDP stronghold.

The event was graced by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation , SGF, Boss Mustapha, Governors of Adamawa and Bauchi States,  Jibrilla Bindow and Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, respectively.
