The National Coordinator of Buhari Osinbajo Hope Movement (BOHM) has supported the choice of national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as co-chairman of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, saying he has pedigree of delivering good results in such rigorous tasks.
Seyi who stated this while canvassing for votes in the South West said the former Lagos State governor will not disappoint the party and its standard bearer, President Muhammadu Buhari, in the polls given his vast political structure and tenacity.
The group noted, “You can see how the opposition parties are jittery over the role Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has been asked to play. That is why they are disturbed. There couldn’t have been a better choice for a head of the APC presidential campaign council for the forthcoming elections than Tinubu at a time the party is going into the general elections.
‘’ This is a man that does not believe in failure. He was alone in the opposition for years he was not darting from one political party to the other. He eventually made it to the top and his party is a ruling party presently in the country.”
Seyi said President Buhari a very meticulous leader must have considered so many factors before designating the Jagaban of Borgu Kingdom to lead the consultation, reconciliation and confidence-building efforts in the APC last year, saying his political stand was able to resolve all the intra-party feuds in the APC.
He added that “ If Tinubu could lead the APC reconciliation committee successfully, a party that was already fractured we have no doubt that he will repeat this same feat of keeping the party as one and helping President Buhari to win the coming presidential election in his capacity as co-chairman of the party’s campaign train.”
Seyi who also lauded the Special Adviser to the President on Politics, Senator Babafemi Ojudu, for his leadership roles towards ensuring that the Buhari Osinbajo Hope Movement achieve its mandate of fully mobilizing the people said the group is more focused on the grassroots of 774 Local Councils in the country.
