Supporters Begin Door-to-door Campaign For Tambuwal

The protem chairman of the Sokoto State Door-to-Door Mobilisation Vanguard (H2H), Alhaji Yusuf Dingyadi, has said that the group has begun the door-to-door mobilisation campaign for the re-election of Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwa and other candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.

Dingyadi stated this in Bodinga during the presentation of jerseys, caps and other campaign materials donated to youths in the area by the H2H.

According to him, the donation of campaign materials to the teeming PDP supporters marked the commencement of the house-to-jouse campaign for the PDP in the state, which would cover all the local government areas.

Dingyadi, who is also senior special assistant to governor Tambuwal, said that the house-to-house campaign strategies reaches more communities through the enlightenment of the people on the projects executed by the incumbent administration, especially in education, agriculture, health, security and other social service for the wellbeing of the people.

He added that the campaign was initiated by the group to inform and guide the teeming supporters on the need to ensure the protection of their votes during and after the forthcoming elections.

Over 6,000 volunteers across the state are expected to participate in the four-week mobilisation and public enlightenment exercise meant to attract more support for the PDP, particularly governor Tambuwal  and other candidates in  the 23 local government areas of the state.

He said, they are targeting 500, 000 votes across the state through daily house-to–house campaign and mobilisation of eligible voters in the 23 local government areas of the state.

“He said they are targeting bulk votes in the rural areas by engaging volunteers to work day and night for the success of PDP candidates in order to ensure qualitative leadership under the Mutawalle Sak re-election project initiated by the group.
