Activist Artistes Management Hires Sheema Siddiqi

Activist Artists Management, a full-service music and talent management, integrated media and advisory firm, has hired Sheema Siddiqi as head of digital.

Siddiqi will lead Activist’s digital team to develop and implement cross platform global digital strategies for Activist’s clients and work from the LA office and report directly to co-founding partner Bernie Cahill.

Siddiqi began her career at 19 Entertainment, where she worked on campaigns for David Beckham, Victoria Beckham, Andy Murray and Annie Lennox. She then joined the digital marketing team at RCA UK, where she implemented campaigns for P!nk, Usher, Chris Brown and Willow Smith. Most recently, Siddiqi worked at Modest Management, where she was head of digital for bands including One Direction, Little Mix, Niall Horan, 5 Seconds of Summer and Hey Violet.

“Sheema’s experience and creativity will have an immediate impact on all Activist clients,” Cahill says in a statement provided to Billboard.

Activist was launched in the spring of 2018 by former Roar founders Cahill and Greg Suess, as well as Roar execs Matt Maher and Liz Norris and Jacksonville Jaguars and Fulham FC owner Tony Khan who are also Activist partners. Activist’s clients inlude the Grateful Dead, The Lumineers and four-time Grammy award winner Dwight Yoakam.

Siddiqi adds, “I’m honoured to join an amazing group of artists and executives at Activist. It’s a really exciting opportunity to develop the digital team and work on some really innovative campaigns for artistes ranging from Dead & Company to Empire Of The Sun.
