Valuation Standards: ESVRBON Seeks CBN’s Support

The Estate Surveyors and Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria (ESVARBON) has sought the cooperation of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in its efforts to improve valuation standards in the country.
Chairman, ESVARON, Sir Nweke Umezuruike,made this known during a courtesy visit to the CBN’s office in Abuja.
Umezuruike said that Nigeria’s valuation standards represents a major development in improving the quality of valuation advice given to clients and in eliminating their dissatisfaction.
He said ESVARBON was determined to fulfill its mandate as provided in section 2 of its enabling Act and no stone would be left unturned in achieving its mandate.
He said the cooperation and collaboration with the CBNN had become important in ensuring that the association got regular feedbacks and valuable inputs into its regulatory works.
A deputy in the corporate services, Central Bank Of Nigeria (CBN), Mr Edward Adamu, assured the body of CBN’s cooperation.
“ We are excited because it is one ecosystem in Nigeria and there is need for synergy that will help to move us forward. We will continue to collaborate with your organisation and to support one another,” he said.
