Adamawa: PDP Lawmakers Set Formidable Team To Attract Govt Presence – Yero

Mr Binos Dauda Yero, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator-Elect, Adamawa Southern Senatorial District says, a formidable team of the party’s  lawmakers, would put in place at the National Assembly, to attract government presence in the state.

Yero assured people of his constituency that he would work hand in hand with his colleagues, for effective legislation, aimed address the lingering ethno-religious crisis in the zone.

He assured that when legislative duties are fully resumed, the PDP Senators in the National Assembly, would team up to give the state, what the outgoing APC counterpart could not for the state.

He expressed worries that, the area has been bedeviled by ethno-religious crisis over the years, hence urgent need to solve the crisis once and for all.

“This senatorial zone has been witnessing farmers/herders clash and other religious crisis for years, which have defied solutions by past government and major stakeholders.

“I believe, this time around the end of the problem is insight.

Speaking on governorship re-run in the state, the lawmaker -Elect added, that,

“INEC is engaging in academic exercise of conduct re-run to delay the inevitable.

“No magic could upturn the margin lead by PDP governorship candidate.

“I want to convey my appreciation to the people of Southern Senatorial Zone, for standing by their votes to vote for me.

“I have traversed the entire district, identified challenges of the people, I will give them effective representation in the NASS”.

The Senator-elect, promised to use government agencies, dialogue with stakeholder in addressing lingering farmer/ herders crisis in the area.
