APGA National Chair Deserves A Second Term – Carefor

The national chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Oye, deserves a second term in office given his leadership qualities that helped in extending electoral victory for the party to other parts of the country in the 2019 elections.

APGA’s National Financial Secretary, Ibrahim Garba Carefor, disclosed this during a chat with journalists in Abuja, where he said APGA under Oye’s leadership was gaining national outreach and that this feat was never achieved since the formation of the party.

He therefore said the recent calls by some misguided individuals for Oye to resign was uncalled for and out of place, saying APGA under the current national chairman never had it so good.

He added that Oye had within four years transformed the party and can now compete with other strong political parties favourably even as he praised the party chair for providing avenues on which the party can depend on itself by providing a formidable standard of strategic revenue generation.

“He has extended APGA’s winning streaks to North-Central and North-East. He met the party without a Senator even at the heartbeat centre of the party and finally revived the centre by winning elections.

“Under his watch, APGA is getting more recognition across the nation, making our members hopeful and courageous,” Carefore noted.

He added that Oye initiated direct empowerment and capacity building for national working committee (NWC) members of the party and he leads with a clear-cut ideology on how to make the state chapters of the party viable and self-reliant.
