10th Year Anniversary: Mecure Launches Complete Healthcare App

As Me Cure Healthcare Limited celebrates its 10th years anniversary, the Chief Technology Officer, Me Cure, Adil Shaiku said the company has launched the Me Cure Smart Buy, an e-commerce platform for all healthcare needs.

Shaiku who spoke with LEADERSHIP recently, said Me Cure SmartBuy works with partner pharmacies across Lagos, adding that the App identifies lowest prices of medicines/personal with 20 per cent savings on every order.

He urged Nigerians not to guess their health. “Call a doctor for free! Self medication is dangerous and unsafe. Under the MeCure Smart CSR program, reach out to registered medical doctors on call at no cost,” he added.

Chief Medical Officer for Me Cure Diagnostic center, Me Cure Healthcare Limited, Dr. Obiefuna Ajie said
Me cure came in when Nigeria needed to improve her diagnostics in terms of communicable and non-communicable diseases.

Ajie said one of Me Cure’s goals is to improve primary health care in Nigeria. “We provide drugs that are affordable and accessible. Our smart clinic where we have pharmacists and doctors that are easily accessible, is one way Nigerians can access quality healthcare services at their own convenience,” he added.

Chief Medical Officer, Me Cure Eye Centre, Dr Adegboyega Alabi said before the company came on board particularly in the diagnostic area of healthcare, it has been challenging for most patients to get their investigation done in a complete and fast manner that could aid and help in their treatments.

He said, “The diagnostic aspect was a problem before Me cure came on board to the extent that patients had to travel abroad to run some investigations, but Me cure came in to bridge that gap and provide those services.”

Quite a number of people lost their lives unavoidably because of lack of those investigative tools and Me Cure has been able to bridge that gap in the past 10 years, thereby contributing physically in helping our healthcare professionals, hospital and clinics save many lives, says Alabi.

As for the Me Cure Eye Centre, Alabi said, “The Me cure vision is a complete package, which has contributed significantly to the prevention of blindness in Nigeria.”
