Assuring that his words still remain his bonds, the governor highlighted that he would take appropriate steps to restore confidence in the governance of the state with genuine conviction, commitment and candour.

“I will be governor for all, rebuild and transform Imo with human capital development science and technology and quality of life for our people. We are on a rebuild mission and the engine of good governance must be lubricated, Civil Service reformed for efficiency and productivity”.

Hon. Ihedioha also revealed that appropriate due process mechanism would be enthroned while the Bureau for Public Procurement, principle of separation of power and independence of the judiciary would enjoy prominence in his administration.

According to him, Okorocha’s Free Education Programme would be reviewed to provide qualitative education for children and youths in the state while the 4 existing Technical Colleges would be refurbished and re-equipped with trained experienced teachers.

Hon. Ihedioha highlighted that other areas of interest include: repositioning of the health and Agriculture sectors, installation of an Integrated Infrastructural Development Plan, revival of Imo security networks, rural access roads, acceleration of the realization of Sustainable Development Goals, review of land allocations made by the immediate past administration as well as enhancement of Environmental Sanitation Programme in addition to the computerization of the state civil service so as to increase productivity within the system.
