Covid 19: SANTUSCOM MD Distributes 500 10kg Rice, Others To Nigerians

In a bid to ameliorate the suffering of Nigerians following The COVID19 stay at home order by President Muhammadu Buhari, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Santuscom Agro-Hub Investment Nigeria Limited, Chief Paul Santus Ofana has embarked on distribution of food items to various households across the country.

A statement by the media consultant to the company, Comrade Ebriku John Friday noted that so far 500 10kg bags of Ogoja rice and 500 4litres of Ogoja Palm Oil has been released to households of persons most affected to cushion the effect of the stay at home order.

Santuscom Agro-Hub is the producer of the popular Ogoja Rice and other allied food products.

He said this gesture is to support the Federal Government and to ameliorate the sufferings of people while they stay at home.

He added that the distribution of hand sanitizers, hand gloves and face masks by various leaders is a welcome development but that the people will not be sustained with those alone, saying people need to eat to survive the hard times.

He said people need to eat to stay alive as they stay at home at this time. He noted further that a well fed family will have an improved immunity to fight any kind of ailment.

While commending the efforts of individuals who have made various contributions, Chief Santus called on other well meaning Nigerians to join hands and support suffering Nigerians by way of providing basic food items to keep them away from the challenge of hunger.

He stated further that the Group General Mananger of the company, Emaluji Sunday Michael can be reached for supply of the food items.
