Nasarawa United Football Club of Lafia has fixed Wednesday, September 16th, 2020, as the resumption date for its players and officials.
This, the club said is in line with the lifting of embargo on sporting activities across Nigeria by the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 and complying with the League Management Company’s (LMC) fixing of September 18 as the commencement date for the submission of players’ licensing applications for the 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Season.
Chairman of the club, Barr. Isaac Danladi, who disclosed this at the end of the club’s management meeting yesterday in Lafia, said the resumption date became imperative to adequately prepare the team for the next football season.
