First Lady Distributes Rice In Kogi

Wife of the president, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated 1,000 bags of rice to Christians in Kogi State through the Christian Northern Nigeria Political Progressive Forum, (CNNPPF.)

Making the distribution in Lokoja at the weekend, the national coordinator of the forum, Ibrahim Itodo, said it was meant to give succour to the beneficiaries during the festive season.

He appreciated the first lady for providing the rice, saying, northern Christians and the forum were dear to her heart as they supported her husband’s election bid in 2023.

Itodo apologised for distributing the rice after Christmas Day, saying next year’s distribution would come before the main celebration.

He advised the people to continue to have faith in the administration of President Bola Tinubu, saying he was doing everything possible to put the nation on the path of economic recovery.
