The Speaker, Adamawa House of Assembly, Alhaji Kabiru Mijinyawa, has said both the deputy speaker, Mr Emmanuel Tsamdu and majority leader, Mr Hassan Barguma, have been sacked.
Mijinyawa, while speaking in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), yesterday, in Yola, also said that the deputy majority leader of the House, Mr Abubakar Isa, was also included.
”The deputy speaker of the State House of Assembly, the majority leader and the deputy majority leader, all members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), were impeached ” Mijinyawa said.
He said that the house elected Mr Lunsumbani Dili of the APC, from Demsa local government area as its new deputy speaker.
Muhammad Hayatu is now the majority leader, while Muhammadu Sani-Shehu is the new deputy leader.
The Speaker, however, did not give the reason behind the impeachment.
