The fight card for the highly anticipated PFL Africa 2025 Finals has been officially confirmed, as the continent’s elite mixed martial artists gear up for a momentous showdown set to take place next month.
Scheduled for 20th December, the event will feature an impressive 11-fight card at the Sofitel Dome in Cotonou, Benin. The programme includes four championship finals, six showcase bouts, and one alternate matchup, promising an exhilarating night of competition.
This momentous occasion follows the successful launch of the Professional Fighters League (PFL) African franchise earlier this year. The PFL, renowned as one of the fastest-growing MMA organisations worldwide, has hosted three blockbuster events in key locations, including Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Kigali, Rwanda. These events showcased remarkable talent, culminating in the determination of the standout athletes who will now compete for a place in history at the Finals, with an opportunity to become Africa’s first-ever PFL Champions, each vying for a substantial prize of $100,000 and the chance to fight in the league’s global season.
Champions will be crowned in four divisions: Heavyweight, Welterweight, Featherweight, and Bantamweight, with each division winner taking home one of the largest purses available for professional athletes in Africa, alongside the esteemed title of inaugural PFL Africa Tournament Champion.
As anticipation builds, all eyes will be on Cotonou for what promises to be an unforgettable night in the world of mixed martial arts.
