Alumni Association Donate Books To Fed Varsity Lafia.

The Alumni Association of Federal University Lafia, in Nasarawa state, has donated books worth- N500, 000 to the management of the institution.

National President of the association, Yaji Williams, disclosed this in Lafia, during the donation of the books to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Muhammad Sanusi.

According to the FULAA President, the gesture was part of the association’s core mandate to support reading culture and promote academic excellence in their Alma-mater.

“We have decided to enhance the books in the university’s library after due consultation with the management of the library”

“We told wise at this material time to donate these books to the University’s library in order towards upholding the university’s core value f innovation, integrity and excellence”

” These books which covers all courses currently being offered, were carefully sorted noting the fundamental areas of needs of undergraduates and postgraduates,” he said.

Receiving the books, the VC represented by Dr Mamuda Abubakar, Registrar of the institution, expressed gratitude to the association for the donation.

He assured them that the books would be put in the library for the benefit of both staff, students and members of the public.
