Oribhabor said the killings are not only gruesome, unacceptable callous, inhuman and wicked, but one that should be condemned by all and not play politics with.
He said the GPN has not only frowned at the act, but also called on the nation’s security agencies to unravel those behind the dastardly act.

He suggested that state of emergency in the states with high rate of these wanton killings, such as Benue State, for the security agencies to get to the root of the reasons behind the killings.
“We are seriously alarmed with these killings, especially against the background that the killings has now shown to the world that life is the now the cheapest commodity in Nigeria.
“The country is now a banana republic where people can just wake from their sleep and take another persons life without looking back. It is for this reason that we as a party is calling on the federal government to be more proactive than reacting, on this matter of senseless killings across the country.
