Esu of Bwari, His Royal Highness (HRH) Ibrahim Yaro (JP), has assured residents of Bwari area council of his relentless effort to ensure peaceful coexistence among all tribes and religions.
In his Easter message to newsmen, the Esu stated that he would always engage all the stakeholders on ideas that would bring about unity, love and peace of the people of the area.
He maintained that there won’t be progress, where there is no cordial working relationship among those living together, adding, “Where there is peace, progress can always be recorded.”
The royal father advised all district and village heads in the area to ensure that they are in control of their areas, especially by giving security agencies useful information that could support them fish out trouble makers in the community.
He reminded the people, especially Christians, to use the Easter celebration to think better on living the exemplary life of Jesus Christ, in whose name the period is honoured.
The Esu advised leaders to always have control over their followers, at all time, for easy control and directives which, according to him, could assist in building more bridges of peace and unity.
He disclosed that plans are ongoing to organise a sensitisation programme for youths in Bwari town, on the essence of continuous peaceful coexistence among themselves, adding that Bwari is still peaceful, despite the ugly incident that occurred on 25 December, 2017.
