A number of European clubs have indicated interest in signing Nigeria-born Midfield marshal, JohnPaul McTheophilus.
The Imo State born JP McTheophilus, played for Persikad Depok in Indonesia Liga Premier for two and half seasons before a sensational move to Pesanku in Bali Regional Division side Pesanku Bali.
Report from Europe claims that a number of clubs including Norwegian teams have indicated interested in acquiring the services of the 25 year old midfield marshal.
After a long sojourn oversea, where he made Nigeria proud at various points, JP returned to the country recently to spend time with his family after rejecting offers from a host of Indonesian teams in his quest to project his career to a big league.
Our Correspondent caught up the Midfielder in Abuja and he confirmed that he’s listening to offers from different teams.
“Yes, I have offers, but it’s important to make the right choices that will not only improve my life but also my development as a player. So I’m in no rush”, JP said yesterday.
He, however, added that, what would inform his choice was not the monetary offer per see, but alot of variables would be factorised.
One among the indices to be considered, according to JP, was a conducive and enabling environment to fully showcase his God given talents, saying, Nigeria players are making the country proud, and he “can’t do otherwise”.
