A former Special Assistant (SA) to Governor Tanko Umar Al-makura of Nasarawa State on Animal Husbandry and Cattle Route, Hon Ja’afar Muhammad Liman has called on the former governor of Kano state, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to get ready to contest for presidency if President Muhammadu Buhari decide not to go for a second term.
Liman stated this while interacting with our correspondent at Maliya Cattle Market, Tudun-wada, along Abuja Keffi road in Karu local government area of Nasarawa state.
He said President Buhari has made Nigerians proud by adding that there is need for him (Buhari) to rest so that people lik Kwankwaso can step into his shoe.
“Buhari’s administration has done a lot in the area of security and I feel peace has been reasonably achieved. In you look at Nigeria’s corruption index, you will agree with me that it has been the greatest challenge to the development in this country. President Buhari has handled it well. As far as am concerned, Buhari’s administration is performing and we need to pray for his good health,” Liman said.
Liman further explained that he want Senator Kwankwaso to contest the 2019 Presidency so that he can continue where President Buhari stop.
He added that the giant stride of Kwankwaso in Kano, such as bridges, roads constructions, scholarship to indigenous Kano people and training them in agriculture is what people of Nigeria want him to come and continue at the federal level.
