The Medical Cancer Foundation (MCF) has revealed its plan to develop a strategic framework for improving cancer data in the country. his, the foundation said will help stimulate stakeholders and policymakers to policy formulation that improves cancer survivorship.
In a statement, MFC said it hopes to achieve this in it 2018 annual summit which is slated to hold December 10 – 13th 2018, at NAF Conference Centre Abuja.
According to the statement, the key speakers expected at the event include Professor Michel Coleman, a Professor of Epidemiology and Vital Statistics at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) since 1995.
The statement further stated that Prof. Coleman was Deputy Chief Medical Statistician at the Office for National Statistics from 1995 to 2004 and Head of the Cancer and Public Health Unit at the School from 1998 to 2003.
