National Telecommunication Company, Globacom, has congratulated Nigerians on the country’s 58th Independence Day celebration coming up today October 1st, 2018.
In a statement to mark the event, Globacom said: “We rejoice with the various tiers of government and our beloved Nigerians across the nation, whose contributions and support have led to the gains the country has made in its journey to development.
The company further urged Nigerians to rise above their differences to focus on nation building.
“We should rise above our diverse national issues, and rather use them as stepping stones to move the country to the level of first world countries, just like Asian tiger nations, who went through rapid industrialisation to become industrial and economic destinations today,” Globacom stated.
Globacom paid tribute to the founding fathers of the nation for laying solid foundations for the country .
The firm also commended Nigerians for their commitment towards the nation’s democracy, especially in the last nineteen years and urged them to continue to support the nation with prayers, commitment and hard work.
“Currently, Nigeria is set to regain her leadership position in the comity of nations with the fresh wind of democratic change blowing across the country. It is hoped that the country’s vast resources would be judiciously harnessed for rapid industrialisation and growth propelled by good governance,” Globacom noted.
The firm re-stated its commitment to provision of employment for Nigerians and a unique network through which Nigerians will continue to enjoy delightful call and browsing experiences.
