Gombe Correspondent Chapel Looses Member

The Gombe State Correspondents Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ, has lost one of its active members, he is Daniel Nyam Gwash, the correspondent of Nigeria Standard Newspaper.

Gwash 57, died in the early hours of Thursday 5th October, 2017 after a protracted illness at Ola hospital in Jos, Plateau State.

According to a statement signed by the Chapel Chairman, Abubakar Tukur, before his death, the deceased who hailed from Jos, Plateau state is survived by one wife and 4 children.

The Chairman of the Chapel, described Gwash death as very shocking to all members of the chapel and the NUJ in Gombe state, hence he was a dedicated journalist who is an active member of the Union noting that we will missed him a lot.

Tukur who said the burial arrangements will be announce by the family, further urged the entire family to bear the irreparable lost and prayed that God will grant him eternal rest.
