“On behalf of the Federated Organisation of Host Communities of Oil and Gas, Solid Minerals and Assets of Nigeria (FOHCOGSMAN), we wish to implore the good people of Niger Delta to shun disunity and embrace peace and unity so as to move our region to greater heights.
“We encourage the Delta State government to use the Niger Delta Development Commission (NNDC) to rehabilitate intra state roads, schools, health care facilities and also create job opportunities and empower the youths.
“We call on our leader, Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, the deputy president of the Nigerian Senate to use his position to bring all illustrious persons within the Niger Delta together for the betterment of the entire region.”
