Renowned Nigeria’s music producer, Chisom Obinna Onyeke, who is fondly called JaySynths, has traced back to his childhood days the passion he has in helping people in need.
According to JaySynths, the brain behind Teni’s biggest hit ‘Case’, when he was a kid, he always loved to share what he had with his friends without any ill-feeling. He said when now he grows up as an adult, it is very easy for him to increase his philanthropic activities beyond his immediate environment just to put smiles on the faces of fellow human beings.
JaySynths, who graduated from the University of Abuja as a Political Scientist, was in Accra, Ghana recently where he visited Osu Children’s Home, situated at 21 Ndabaningi Sithole Road in Accra. The Enugu State-born music producer was well received by the children and management of Osu Home.
The accomplished music producer said he has been given out to the needy in the society to show gratitude to God for what he becomes in the music industry today as he came from nothing to become somebody through the grace of God.
“I was so glad seeing smiles on the faces of these orphans. They were so full of life despite the fact that they did not have fathers and mothers. I was so moved and I had no regret contributing my quota to their wellbeing.
“Helping others who are in need is a good service to humanity and I won’t relent in giving back to the society to further this good cause,” he said during an interview with journalists when he returned from the trip from Ghana..
JaySynths had some of his works being described as groundbreaking and chart-topping as the political scientist turned music producer has carved a niche for himself in the industry as a midas touch with his creativity.
He has no doubt produced award-winning songs for top-rated Nigeria and Africa musical artists and the Enugu State-born music producer has remained intrinsically relevant in the Industry with his experience
It is not a surprise that he is rising as his prolific production of new songs have continued to trend across the globe with artists making use of his talent and professionalism to promote their works.
“I have been producing since 2015 till now and I have worked with most of the industry greats including Teni, skiibii, Mr Eazi, ice prince, Mr P, Victor AD, Kuami Eugene, KiDi, and many more.
A keyboardist and a bassist, the hitmaker, who started his music career as a drummer in the church, love for music was what he needed to make a career for himself, a path that had since turned to a gold mine for him.
“If I am not doing music, maybe I’ll be working in an oil company or a reputable organization. I don’t like stress,” said Jaysths
“I believe in making one’s passion one’s profession. Since I have a deep love for music I decided to make it a career. It’s fun being paid for what you are passionate about doing,” Jaysths said.
