Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Walid Jubril and former deputy senate president, Senator Ibrahim Mantu, have applauded the developmental strides of Rivers State governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike.
This is as governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has urged the federal government to expeditiously complete the abandoned East-West road because of its economic importance.
Jubril and Mantu spoke yesterday, while inaugurating the Community Secondary School, Eteo in Eleme local government area and the Community Secondary School, Obeakpu-Ndoki in Oyigbo local government area of Rivers State, respectively.
Speaking at Eteo, the PDP BoT Chairman, Jubril, who said the party was proud of Wike’s developmental strides, commended the governor for his steadfast defence and support of the PDP.
Also speaking at Obeakpu-Ndoki, former deputy senate president, Mantu, said the achievements of the Rivers State governor were worthy of emulation by other governors.
“Governor Wike remains a role model, worthy to be emulated. I advise other governors to come to Port Harcourt to see what Governor Wike is doing.”
