President Muhamadu Buhari,19 Northern governors and traditional rulers have called for peaceful coexistence among Nigerians for investors to invest more in Nigeria.
President Buhari, who stated this in Kaduna during the grand Durbar as part of activities to celebrate Kaduna 100 years of existence urged local and International investors across the globe to the advantage of the relatively peace enjoy in the country, particularly for curtailing the activities of the Boko Haram in the Northern Nigeria and invest.
The President who was represented by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Bello, noted that, with the gradual return of peace especially in the north Eastern part of the country, government was doing all its could to create an enably environment that would attract investors into the country.
He added that efforts were being put in place to improve power generation in the country for the ease of doing business.
According to Buhari:”There is no how we can move forward without peace in the country, as such all Nigerians must be ready to collaborate with the government of the day and move the country forward for the interest of the next generation and for those yet on born”, President Buhari stressed.
On his part, Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, described Kaduna state as a city that acknowledges and respects it’s relationship to the entire Northern Nigeria.
El-Rufai, added that the 19 Northern states have long standing ties of culture, geography and history, which he said requires exploring collaborations, common approaches and best practices to rip the region of its challenges.
