Led by its founder/CEO, Ojulari Olasunkanmi aka ‘Sunky O’, it is among the privately owned firms helping to alleviate the rough economic situation caused by COVID-19 pandemic through donations to the homeless, IDP camps and the less privileged.
Sunky O as he is popularly known is a is a lifestyle connoisseur, brand strategist and entertainment professional.
He recently informed journalists during a media parley of his plans to distribute relief materials to Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps around Abuja, Nigeria.
Olasunkanmi said arrangements have already been concluded for his team to visit some IDP camps on 1st & 2nd of October 2021 being Nigeria’s Independence Day. He said that articles of clothing, bags of rice, gallons of palm oil, cartons of noodles, toilet rolls, tubers of yam, tins of milk, bags of rice and sachets of seasoning cubes will be distributed on the day during the visit.
“We will also distribute school books and learning materials to kids between 5 and 11 years old at these camps,” he stated.
Sunky said he is already in contact with the appropriate authorities to ensure the visit is hitch-free and COVID-19 safety measures-compliant.
The camps scheduled for the visits are the Area One and Lugbe IDP Camps in Abuja on 1st and 2nd October respectively.
Most of the occupants of IDP camps are people and families from towns and villages ravaged by boko haram insurgency and banditry. He said focus will be on orphans, single parents and widowers in the camps.
