The Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), has revealed that it would organise a specialise Pilgrimage for the traditional rulers across the country next year.
The executive secretary of the Commission, Rev. Tor Uja, disclosed this during a courtesy visit to Mai Tangale kingdom, His Royal Highness Abdu Buba Maishru, in Billeri, Gombe State.
It comes a day after the Commission officially flagged off the 2017 Christian pilgrimage.
Uja solicited the cooperation of His royal Highness in the actualisation of the traditional rulers’ Pilgrimage next year.
He reiterated the need to have northern Christian traditional ruler’s conference next year so as to strength the existing relationship between them.
In his remarks, the Mai Tangale who is also the chairman of Gombe State Pilgrims Welfare described the flag off of 2017 Pilgrimage to Gombe State as “an eye opener.” Adding that it is a gospel in itself and people would now count Gombe as one of the Christian states in the North.
