Nigerians has been advised to always patronise made in Nigeria products with a view to boosting the country’s economy, even as manufacturers of such goods are told to also ensure quality.
The CEO of SERAH JACOBS Fashion homes, Sarah Adetugboboh, gave this advice at a Fashion exhibition show organised to sensitise Nigerians and increase awareness on the creation of quality made in Nigerian clothing.
According to her, it is important for Nigerians to always go for made in Nigeria products for the betterment of the country’s economy and the job opportunities it will create to the teeming Nigerians.
She stated that there is an increase in global demand for quality products, and Nigeria has what it takes to bridge that gap with quality fabrics. She advocated that, priests should make their cassocks in the Nigerian ways, adding that other professional organisations like banks and other financial institutions, oil and gas sector and blue chip companies should wear smartly made in Nigeria fabric attires as dress codes.
High point of the exhibition was the unveiling of some Nigerian made female attires which can be used for virtually all occasions.
