According to her as at the time she started her brand the virgin hair community was just beginning to gather momentum and as a business enthusiast she got on the train and as they say, the rest is history.
“In 2015 when I started my Cassie Hair brand, the virgin hair community was just gaining its recognition in Nigeria. The demand for hair extensions in the Nigerian market was increasing everyday and being the business enthusiast that I am, I decided to venture into the human hair community. And I can categorically say that it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I am also involved in many other businesses asides the virgin hair business,” she stated.
Many people who have availed themselves of the hair Cassie Hair brand brings to the table have come to fondly nicknamed her ““Cassie With The Good Hair”. According to her, this is because she provides women with spectacular pieces to accentuate their style. She provides a rich range of luxurious hairs and accessories that are top notch and of the best quality available.
Explaining what virgin hair really all about she submits, “It is Raw Human Hair. It means untouched hair that has never been chemically processed in any way. Human hair is highly sought after in the hair market today, and hence providing my amazing customers with the best quality strands is great business. I am “Cassie With The Good Hair”.
Salimon asserts that she’s in a beauty business and highlights the importance of hair to the beauty of a woman, saying good hair is an amazing confidence booster.
“Beauty for me is more than just what we can see on the surface. It is the all-round qualities and traits that make a person unique and reflects their soul. It is beyond the physical sense of it. And yes, good hair has a way of emphasizing the best features on your face and even body. Good hair is also an amazing confidence booster. I won’t say a choice of hair can make you ugly… I prefer to say that a bad hair choice can hide the amazing features of your face. Good hair sure makes you feel more beautiful, confident and in control,” she said.
The beautiful mother of one also explains why virgin hair is better than other types of hair, admitting they are expensive but durable and may be deemed a wise investment in the long term.
“Less expensive hair-dos like braids and weave-ons are pretty great, but we cannot deny the versatility that comes with rocking great virgin hair. You can literally be twenty-persons in one with one great virgin hair. Good hair doesn’t come cheap, and you remember the old saying, “What is worth doing, is worth doing well”, she declares.
