The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that only 40% of registered 2025 Batch C Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) will attend orientation, citing limited camp capacity across the country.
The NYSC disclosed this on Tuesday via its official Facebook page.
The management explained that, due to camp capacity across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, only about 40% of registered PCMs can be accommodated for the upcoming orientation programme.
Those affected, it said will be automatically moved to the next batch, which will take place shortly after the Batch C exercise.
Reiterating its commitment to a smooth exercise, the NYSC added that management remains dedicated to ensuring a hitch-free orientation and a fulfilling service year experience for all PCMs.
The statement reads: “The NYSC Management is pleased to announce that call-up numbers for 2025 Batch C Prospective Corps Members have been released based on registration order.
“Please note that, due to camp capacity across the 36 states of the federation and the FCT, only about 40% of registered Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) can be accommodated for the upcoming orientation programme.
“Those not accommodated will be automatically moved to the next batch, which will take place shortly after the Batch C exercise.
“Management remains committed to ensuring a hitch-free orientation exercise and service year experience for all our PCMs.”
