Other dignitaries expected at the summit include the immediate past Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa (Rtd), the Senator representing Kaduna South Senatorial District, Sen. Sunday Marshall Katung and the Second Secretary of the British High Commission in Nigeria, Mr David Snelling.

Speaking on the significance of the milestone edition, Gloria Mabeiam Ballason, Esq., Chief Executive Officer and Founder of the House of Justice Group, said the 2025 theme seeks to proffer sustainable solutions to the enduring challenges of justice, displacement, and insecurity across Nigeria and the Sahel region.

“This milestone event is particularly significant because it comes at a time of renewed concerns over sovereignty and foreign intervention in Nigeria’s internal security matters.

To truly address insecurity, we must accept factual narratives of the different forms of insurgency and invest in justice and resettlement for displaced victims,” Ballason stated.

The Summit will also feature a panel of experts, including Fr. Atta Barkindo, Dr Zuwaqhu Bonat, Ms Enene Ejembi, Stanley Ibe, Esq., and Mr Majeed Dahiru, who will examine legal gaps and explore strategic solutions to insecurity and displacement. The panel will also engage development commissions and international partners in implementing practical interventions.

At the evening session, the Orange Ball Banquet will host high-level participants, including Mr. Aliyu Tijjani Ahmed, Federal Commissioner of the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons; Sen. Titus Zam and Sen. Babangida Hussaini, Chairmen of the Senate Committees on North-Central and North-West Development Commissions respectively; and Matthew Burkaa, SAN, a Lagos-based Senior Advocate of Nigeria. The session will focus on developing collaborative frameworks for justice and community resettlement.

Founded as a multi-door justice conglomerate, House of Justice continues to drive access to justice and civic engagement through advocacy and public interest interventions. The House of Justice Summit and Orange Ball Banquet remain the largest annual civic convention on social justice in Nigeria, fostering dialogue between leaders and citizens to inspire real change.

Attendance to the Summit is free, while access to the Banquet will be by invitation card only, she states.
