Oyo State governor, Seyi Makinde has announced that civil servants from level 13 and above in the state will resume on Monday, 27th of April.

The governor who disclosed this while briefing journalists on Saturday at the Government House, Agodi, Ibadan, said “First, the state Secretariat will be reopened Monday, April 27th, 2020 but only civil servants at level 13 and above with separate offices will resume.

“We have put certain guidelines to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19 in the state’s secretariat.”

It would be recalled that as part of strategies to curtail the spread of Coronavirus in the state, Governor Makinde, in March, announced the closure of the secretariat and other government parastatals and agencies.

Also, he directed civil and public servants in the employment of the state, local governments and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) to stay off work for two weeks.
