Ramalan Rotimi Buhari, the founder and CEO of RNR Klothings, a brand celebrated for blending African cultural heritage, held audience spellbound with a colourful runway at the recently concluded 15th Peace Achievers Award 2025, organised by the Peace Achievers Award.
This was in addition to his conferment as ‘Most Outstanding Africa’s Fashion Entrepreneur’ of the Year at the award ceremony.
He is renowned for adding colour, glitz and glamour at events with his fashion runway. It was also same at the Peace Achievers International Award at Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja, where several models showcased beautiful outfits produced by his company to the excitement of the audience.
He was the sole fashion designer accredited to showcase his products at the show, further cementing his influence in Africa’s fashion space.
He also spearheaded a fashion runway recently in Kigali, Rwanda, at the ‘100 Most Notable Peace Icons’ where he highlighted Africa’s growing stature in the global creative economy, ingrained in peace-building and sustainable development, often woven together.
His brand, RNR Klothings, has evolved from a grassroots initiative into a powerful movement, respected for its bold, culturally resonant collections and strategic collaborations.
A graduate of Accounting from the University of Abuja, Ramalan Rotimi Buhari’s professional journey is built on a foundation of strong corporate and ministry experience, having served in influential roles at Skye Bank Plc, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC), and the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA).
These roles refined his expertise in administrative leadership, protocol management, and customer relations skills that continue to shape his disciplined, people-focused approach to leadership.
At the moment, he is at the concluding stage of sealing several runway shows he has been enlisted for across Africa and beyond.
With the theme, Peace Building Through Sectoral Partnerships: Public and Private Sector Collaboration, the Peace Achievers International Conference and Awards took place November 8, 2025 at Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja.
The Project Director of Peace Ambassadors Agency, Amb. Kingsley Amafibe said this event which coincided with the 15th anniversary of the Peace Achievers International Conference and Awards presented an opportunity to celebrate a decade and half of promoting peace, advocacy for change in Nigeria and consistent support for national unity.
