Rotary club of Kaduna has donated 1000 treated mosquito nets , bathing kits and drugs to the health centre in Rigasa in Igabi local goverment of Kaduna State as part of its community service.
The president of the club, Rotarian Adejoke Adeyinka stated this during the official donation of a police traffic stand in Kaduna.
The president who advanced reasons for the District Governor’s presence in the state said, the District Governor of district 9125 who is in the state on familiarization tour will commission rescuccitated borehole ib Fulani Doka mai Jama’a which is an adopted village of the club, unveil the crocodile bulletin and equally handed over the donations to the beneficiaries.
Rotarian Adeyinka disclosed that the club has spent overv1.5 million naira in the purchase and execution of some of the projects, stressing that the club will not exitate in doing more in the nearest future.
Responding onbehalf of one of the beneficiaries of the rotary club of Kaduna’s gesture, the Commissioner of Police in Kaduna State represented by the Assistant Commissioner of Police Administration, ACP Abdul Wakili Salama commended the rotary club and wish other Non Governmental Organization (NGO) could emulate them in giving back to the society.
Meanwhile, the district governor had expressed satisfaction with the performance of the Kaduna Rotary club in terms of impacting on the Community.
Also on ground during the commissioning were the past district governor Felix Arinze,Assistant Zonal cordinator Akeem Sani, Assistant Governor Aisha Ismail and past president Grace Sadiku who is also the present project chairman of the club.
