Sunshine Stars have announced Bobola Akinfolarin as their new head coach.
The Nigeria National League (NNL) side unveiled Akinfolarin at the Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA) headquarters yesterday after he signed a one-year contract with the Akure club.
Akinfolarin previously served as technical director of Sunshine Queens FC and has experience as an assistant coach under several managers, including Bala Abubakar, Kennedy Boboye, and Kayode Olujoungbe.
The new manager holds a CAF B Coaching Licence and an Advanced Certificate from the National Institute for Sports (NIS).
Sunshine Stars were relegated from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) last season and will commence their NNL campaign with an away fixture against Edel FC in Owerri this weekend.
