“I started Glowessence in 2018. That means we have been operating for three years now and so far, by all accounts, we have been doing so well,” disclosed Adebowale Zainab Titilayo, the founder and CEO of GlowEssence Skincare.
While Nigeria is regarded as a country with a tough business environment, and while the past three years have been challenging generally for the business community, due to the recession that hit the country and the global Covid-19 pandemic, the GlowEssence Skincare brand has grown exponentially to become a premium brand in the beauty market.
“That is because I registered my business and I am also making sure I give people the best,” Adebowale affirmed, stating further: “Thriving and profitable businesses depend on satisfied customers, having satisfied customers starts with having products that address their needs, products that are solutions to their problems.”
She went on to explain why the GlowEssence skincare brand turned out to be a bestseller. “All our products are made from herbs and have no side effects,” she said.
On what motivated her to go into the skincare business, which is known to be very competitive and dominated by companies from Europe and America, she said: “Well, I love anything skincare. And I love to solve skin issues, it is something I have passion for and it makes me happy. That motivated me a lot.”
