The big boss at the Billionaire Mafia Records, Prince Idowu Adegbite Tella has expressed his admiration for two Nigerian artists, namely; Mayorkun and Mama Africa, Yemi for their humility and their cordiality in working with their respective labels. The label boss said the two are the envy of record labels because of the way they have conducted themselves in spite of the success they have made of themselves.
The Billionaire Mafia boss was speaking on artist-record label relations which more often than turn sour especially when the artist has become popular with a huge fame and fortune smiling at them.
“ It is true that when some artists become popular and are making waves they become almost uncontrollable. But there’s still what we call individual differences as well. There are some that keep their heads down. Artists like Mayorkun and Yemi Alade have distinguished themselves in this regard. In spite of the huge popularity they enjoy, they have been able to keep their heads down and work in harmony with their respective labels. Not many artists display that level of maturity but these two and some others I cannot remember off hand now have been exemplary in their disposition and control,” he said.
Despite having many other businesses, Idowu Tella has been able to steer the affairs of Billionaire Mafia Records in the right direction, empowering his artists with the right tools to focus on their music and excel. One very good example is the artist signed under the label known as Austin boss.
“Billionaire Mafia Records is a family-oriented company and that was what really bought my interest in the first place and since joining the team they’ve been nothing but a pillar for me through this journey of music,” says singer Austin Boss signed to Idowu Tella’s label.
Prince Idowu Adegbite Tella is a serial entrepreneur who runs other companies in the United States of America. He works for the University of Georgia as the International Student Recruiting Officer as well.
He holds both Bachelor’s degree and Masters degree in Business Administration from University of Georgia.
